FTH Skills Council

 

The Food Tourism & Hospitality Industry Skills Advisory Council SA Inc trading as FTH Skills Council was established in 2004 to work with industry, community and government to develop industry specific work plans, identify workforce trends and emerging skill needs and consider issues relating to career advice and the attraction and retention of a skilled workforce.  FTH Skills Council represented the interests of the food and beverage processing and manufacturing, tourism and hospitality industries in South Australia.

FTH Skills Council remained operational until December 2015 and was formally wound up in early 2016.

Cooks and Bakers Trade Recognition processes are now available through Food & Beverage Development Fund.  Please refer to Trade Recognition links at the top of this page for further information and application forms.

Food & Beverage Development Fund agreed to host the following Resources which had been created by FTH Skills Council and its industry sectors as the resources are simply too important to lose.
