With the opportunity to learn and be involved in the brewing, packing, distribution and marketing processes at One Barrel Brewing in addition to being Brand Ambassador he has attended multiple festivals and functions. With a clear passion for the creativeness of craft beer and entrepreneurship we are pleased to assist Alex with extension studies at Flinders University.
Robert Hunt With a background of brewing beer commercially Rob has seen interesting changes in the market over the last 8 years and has become increasingly interested in the non-alcoholic side of the beverage industry. With a keenness to explore Kombucha we are pleased to assist Rob with the Kombucha Masterclass provided by Mananova in the USA. Main focuses of the course include market trends and threats; science; brewing methods; laboratory; scaling up; designing flavour and colour; virtual factory tours; quality control and case studies. Rob is our first recipient who has been interested in Kombucha and we look forward to sharing his path in this expanding sector.
Damien Mulholland Damine owns a coffee roasting business in the Barossa Valley called Bean Addiction. He would like to hone and formalise his skills as a Coffee Roaster and will be completing a comprehensive Coffee Roasting Course with Anne Cooper from Equilibrium Master Roasters in Victoria.
Shannon Barrett For many people 2020 was one of those years to consider your employment and career options and Shannon is one of those people. With a complete career change Shannon is following his passion into the craft beer sector and will be completing Cert III Food Processing (Brewing) at TAFESA Regency. He wants to understand everything about brewing and at the end of day simply wants to brew good beer.
Natasha Goldsmith Owning a smallgoods production business means you need to be multiskilled across all aspects of the business. Tash together with her husband Scott own Steinys Traditional Mettwurst in Nuriootpa and are both very proud and passionate about their brand and the products they make. We are pleased to be able to assist Tash with funding to complete Cert III Meat Processing (Smallgoods manufacture) with William Angliss Institute.
