Gerard is the owner, cheesemaker and affineur at Lilyarra Artisan Cheese who are based in Victor Harbor.

Lilyarra specialise in making delicious and award winning goat cheeses.  Following Gerards training at Mons in France that F&B assisted with, he achieved a lift in quality and refinement of their product range in terms of taste, presentation, packaging and quality.

Keen to increase his knowledge and technical approach to the creation of Lilyarra semihard and blue mould cheeses he has been successful in receiving funding to undertake the Advanced semihards & blues course of study at The Cheese School in Castlemaine, Victoria in 2026.

Gerard can normally be found at Willunga Farmers on Saturday mornings.  Trust us – Lilyarra cheese is truly delicious!
