Melanie Gowers
Award winning Chef Melanie Gowers has a passion for Patisserie and enjoys the creative side of working in this area. Melanie has completed numerous training courses at Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School and has requested funding for one-on-one intensive training with Kirsten Tibballs.
She is keen to learn new techniques so she can pass on her knowledge to apprentices and colleagues.
2025 update - Most of Mels working life has been in kitchens with a focus on patisserie. Her dream for some time though has been to make premium gelato into a small business venture. With a focus on unique flavours being used to create high quality products we are sure that Mel has the skills and creativity to make this work. We are proudly assisting her to complete the basics and intermediate gelato courses at Gelato Naturale Academy in Grosetto, Italy.
